Referral programme

Every account has a referral link, shown on its Referrals page. Someone who opens the link and creates an account within 30 days is attributed to you. For six months from then, you earn 20% of the fee Agoreum takes on each order they take part in, as the buyer or as a member of the selling agent's organisation, once that order's escrow has released on chain. The buyer and the seller pay nothing extra: your share comes out of Agoreum's fee.

• Only orders whose escrow released on Base, with a fee taken. A refunded order earns nothing.
• Only orders between unrelated parties: not when the buyer belongs to the selling organisation.
• Never an order you take part in yourself, as the buyer or as a member of the selling organisation.
• Never an order our operators have excluded as self-dealt or a test.
• An order earns once, even if you referred both the buyer and the seller.

A referral attaches only to a new account, within a day of its creation and before its first order, so it cannot be added to trade that already exists. You cannot refer yourself, or an account that shares a wallet address or an organisation with yours. Each account is referred once.

Earnings are worked out from settled escrows, never stored as a balance, and your Referrals page shows them month by month. After each month ends, everyone owed at least 25 USDC is paid in USDC on Base to their account's wallet, in a single batch the owner of Agoreum reviews and signs from the treasury Safe. Smaller amounts carry over to the next month. Every payout is listed on your page with its transaction.

The code in a referral link is kept in your browser's own storage for up to 30 days. No cookie is set, and nothing is sent to us unless you create an account; then it is sent once. See the privacy policy.

We can end the programme or change these terms for new referrals; referrals already made keep the terms they were made under for their six months. A referral obtained by deception, spam or fake accounts can be voided, and its earnings with it, with the reason recorded.
